Dwell Studio’s Modern Thanksgiving

If you read the Dwell Studio blog, you might’ve seen this recent post about their Modern Thanksgiving : A Curated Holiday contest. Dwell Studio asked participants to design their dream Thanksgiving on Pinterest, pinning color palettes, recipes, dream guests, etc. I got to pinning and was surprised by the result. Rather than the expected orange/brown/yellow pumpkin-filled Thanksgiving table, I realized my Modern Thanksgiving board was filled with golds and plums, rustic woods and things like kale, eggplant and artichokes.

flowers // pie // painting

cornucopia // wishbone // invitation

cheese plate // teacups // tablescape

We’re expecting a big group of friends Saturday night for our second annual Friends Thanksgiving, and I’m excited to incorporate a bit of this inspiration into my plans. What would your dream Thanksgiving look like?
