Weekend Style : Pimento Pops (of color!)

Do you have a fun weekend planned? Mine is chock full of drinks/dinner with friends and family (I’m sooooo popular, guys), plus a little farmer’s marketing and flower purchasing. My dad specifically requested flowers for Father’s Day because he’s got a bed ready to plant. Ironically, my mom specifically requested a sturdy tool box for Mother’s Day. There’s something off about getting your dad flowers and your mom tools.

I digress.

I named this post Pimento Pops partly because of the colors, but partly because a friend and I are going to the Capital Bar and Grill tonight for cocktails and pimento cheese. If you haven’t had the pimento cheese at CB&G, trust me. It’s worth naming a blog post after.

Something about this outfit: I do really own that white t-shirt. You should too. Here’s why: It costs around $15 from Old Navy and it’s a sturdy white stretch cotton that you can pair with jeans or a skirt and could even pull it off at the office. What I especially like about it is that the back scoops down and shows a little back, but not too much. I’m seriously considering getting a few more of the same shirt, so I’ll always have one.

Also: this maxi skirt is KILLING ME. I WANT SO BAD, Y’ALL!

Cute outfit. I love a classic white tee. And, girl, you ain’t lying about that pimento cheese from CB&G. I crave it on a weekly basis. Have a great weekend! xoxo.

love it! question about that great white tee though — is it see-through and flimsy? because that’s what’s wrong with 98.7 percent of the white shirts in the world, and i hate it.

No, that’s what I love about it. It’s fitted, sturdy and one of the few white tees I don’t have to layer with a camisole. I tell you, it’s perfect.
