Books, candles, a conversation piece, a natural element. Everyone seems to have a different idea of what makes a perfectly-styled coffee table. My rules? 1. Something for people to do. 2. Something for people to talk about. 3. Something to wrangle the odds and ends that inevitably end up on the coffee table. 4. A candle. Always.
