Saturday night, Aaron and I invited friends over for our second annual Friendsgiving dinner – 12 people gathered around my dining room table, stuffing their faces and drinking as much wine as possible. It. Was. Excellent.
For the centerpiece, I gathered mini-gourds, pomegranates, pinecones and a few gold and bronze tchotchkes and votives, plus my beloved birdie salt-and-pepper shakers.
For the flowers, I used a mix of coral/yellow and orange alstroemeria, yellow daisies, orange mums, maroon chrysanthemums and purple aster (I think…).
I made extra candle-holders by bringing in my Nate Berkus gold bowls, filling them with whole coffee beans and sticking a candle in the middle.
I took a lot of inspiration from my Modern Thanksgiving dream table, which you can read more about here. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Wow, gal! That is beautiful! And I love the little Kiwi birds. They are magical.
This is so lovely. Very nicely done. I love the pomegranates. And the gold bowls filled with coffee beans and votives. You’re GOOD. xo.
