June Playlist

June Playlist | Rosemary on the TV

Oops. I managed to completely miss the May playlist. Not sure how it happened, but this one is extra catchy and a little bit summery to make up for it. What are you guys listening to right now? I always like to hear recommendations from you!

March Playlist

March Playlist | Rosemary on the TV

Is it spring yet? No? Can we pretend it is? Yes? Okay, great thanks. I’m headed to Dallas bright and early tomorrow morning for a one-day IKEA trip. I’ve gotta get this home office in shape. Can’t wait to blog about it next week. In the meantime, I’ve been downloading a ton of new music for the drive, so it was perfect timing to share some favorite new and not-s0-new tunes that I’ve been listening to lately.

February Playlist

February Playlist | Rosemary on the TV #playlists #february #music

Don’t be fooled by the festive artwork of this February Playlist. This is not a collection of sappy Valentine’s Day love songs. The thing is: I’ve been BUSY lately. BUSY AS A FREAKIN’ BEE, Y’ALL. And when I start the day with a to-do list longer than my arm, the only thing that can keep me working hard and fast is a good playlist of upbeat music. And this playlist has kept me bouncing in my seat all month. (Or maybe that’s the IV of coffee I stay plugged in to all day. Who can say?)

Christmas Playlist

Christmas Playlist | Rosemary on the TV #holiday #music

Listen to it on Spotify here.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that I am obsessed with Christmas music. I have more than eight hours of Christmas music stored in my iTunes library and I start listening to it the day after Thanksgiving. I collect Christmas music the way some people collect stamps: pathologically. So narrowing down a Christmas playlist to less than 50 tracks was difficult for me, but I managed to tame it down to 27. There are a few of my favorite classics (Otis’s “White Christmas” and Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”), plus a heavy hand of jazzy stuff because if I was stranded on a desert island and could only play one album for the rest of my life, it would be Vince Guaraldi Trio’s Charlie Brown Christmas album. But I also love modern Christmas music too, like The Walkmen and The Raveonettes. And because I’m physically incapable of making a playlist without Andrew Bird on it.

VERY IMPORTANT: What is your favorite Christmas song? Please tell me in case I haven’t heard it and can add it to my collection!
